Kite aerial photography (KAP) is photography generated by lifting a camera into the sky via a kite. The camera (Like a Go-Pro) is triggered either remotely or automatically to take an aerial shot. With this elevated view, pilots can capture landscapes, objects, architecture, and people in entirely new ways. 

These KAP Foils developed by German kite enthusiast Ralf Beutnagel are reliable and very stable lifter kites for a camera rig, line laundry or fly on its own. The wind range of the KAP Foil is fairly wide.

Kap Foil 1.6 Review

I have to say this kite is a pleasure to fly. Works well from 12 -35 km/h so far, with the pull really kicking in around 22-25. this is my first single line kite in many years, and I'm looking forward to Experimenting with lifting things. Maybe even try actual KAP hence the namesake. It is very stable and I'm sure it will work well for this.

I want to give a special thanks to Mike and co. for getting this kite to me in perfect condition and in a timely fashion. I'll no doubt do business again with them when the need arises. I suspect this kite will last quite awhile as it is built really well, time will tell.
